Summer Reading
Hixson High School Summer Reading 2025
- Students in all regular and honors English classes should read 2 books of their choice from their upcoming grade or school favorites list and complete a project for each. These projects should be turned in to their English teachers during the first full week of school.
- If a student is taking an AP English class, please see the directions under the AP section.
- Many of these books are available to check out from our school library.
- All book titles are linked to a book review from Amazon.
- Project options: You must do a different project for each book. You can either make a copy of the file, use Kami, or print it to write on.
- Students may choose to listen to the audiobook through Audible, YouTube, the Chattanooga Library, or other platforms instead of reading the physical book. They may also choose to read the graphic novel version if it is applicable.
